We would like to welcome Jonathan Levy to our Performance Fitness Team. Here is a little about Jonathan;

Jonathan’s passion and dedication for fitness began 7 years ago. He was overweight, out of shape and unhappy. After making multiple lifestyle changes, Jonathan gained a love for health and fitness. This passion gave Jonathan the motivation to pursue an Honors degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. During that time, he spent 3 years working for the Laurier Golden Hawks varsity Football team as a Student trainer where he gained experience working with elite athletes.  He is also currently working towards becoming a PRO TRAINER with CANFITPRO where he will teach and implement the Personal Training exam for future personal trainers.

Jonathan loves to get the most out of every client. He believes everyone is capable, and should be active as possible. He focuses on functional training along with ensuring workouts are constantly changing so his clients can get the most out of every session.


When Jonathan is not training his clients, he can be seen playing sports or in the gym training. He loves to focus on exercise that involves full body movements and activates as many muscle groups as possible. He is currently working specifically at improving his Olympic lifting.

Performance Fitness on TV

In our segment on Daytime York Region for December I discussed exercise during pregnancy with Jacqueline; ideas, recommendations and modifications that should be made to protect yourself and your baby. Exercises is SO important during pregnancy so DO IT but it is also very important to know the changes that need to happen as your pregnancy progresses. Check it out!
